Creative Craft Camp
Target age: 4-6 years old
Discovery is the focus of this camp designed for the very young artist.
Artists will have fun playing with craft materials to discover shapes, patterns
and colors.

Using scrap metals and pencils, we will learn to file, bend and
punch holes in metal and use micro screws. Bring your own
papers or photos to class or use some of my favs!

Target grades: Elementary school

Postage Stamp Earrings
Age: 15 – Adult
Make
a pair of earrings out of postage stamps
using your favorites or choose from my favs. We will use wood, paper, stamps and collage. All supplies furnished. Two dates to choose from.

Drawing and Painting
Target ages: 10 -14
Drawing and painting are the foundations of creating art. Students will learn formal techniques as well as creative possibilities. We will focus on composition, working from observation, and using the imagination for personal expression. We will cover techniques in a wide variety of painting and drawing media: tempera, watercolors, pastels, pencil, collage, charcoal and acrylics.

Summer Art Camp
Target age: 6-13
This unique summer camp provides a variety of sessions ranging
from basic drawing, to clay, painting and more. The sessions are
one week long and are available in either morning or afternoon. Each session will focus on new projects, so students can sign up for more than one session!

Adjustable beach stone ring

Using pre-drilled beach stones and wire. We will learn how to make a variety of rings.

Sculpture
Ages 8-13
Explore the foundations of sculpture and use a variety of materials to create 3-D masterpieces. We will use paper-mache, wood, recyclable materials, wire and clay to build and construct. We will explore relief sculpture, free standing sculpture, and a little art history along the way.

Famous Artists
Target ages 8-13
Learn about famous artists including Degas, Matisse, Van Gogh, OKeefe, Klimt & others. Students will explore what made these artists important, look at examples of their work, and make art inspired by them!

You CAN make art!
Age: Adult
Description: In these class we will let go of all our preconceived limitations and dive into freedom. After making a large, freeform collage, we will turn them into a small series of framed, abstract pieces of art ready to hang! Bring some friends that make you laugh because this is fun.
All supplies included although you are welcome to bring any papers you might like to use.

Private Art Lessons

NSAA has an excellent team of instructors qualified to teach private lessons. One on one instruction is offered in the following areas: piano, violin, guitar, voice, performance, acting, auditioning, percussion, art, composition, private music exploration, music theory, yoga & dance. Piano Camp
Target age: 7-10 years old
An enrichment camp designed for your child to grow their love for the piano. They will learn about and listen to pieces by piano composers, learn music theory, play fun music games, and work one-on-one with a teacher daily at the piano. Student recital on Friday at 2:30pm. Limit: 8 participants

NSAA JR. STAGEKIDS PRESENT “Disney’s Aristocats!”
Target Ages: Ages 6 to 11
Based on the beloved Disney animated film, and featuring a jazzy, upbeat score, Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS is a non-stop thrill ride of feline fun, complete with unbelievable twists and turns.

*Auditions are intended for those who want to try for a role with lines and/or a solo. Everyone who registers for the show will be in the show regardless of whether you audition or not. Please have a monologue and ANY song 30-60 seconds to share with the judges. Those who do not choose to audition must still register for a chorus-type role.

NSAA STAGEKIDS PRESENT “Disney’s The Lion King!!”
Target Ages: 9th grade and under as of September 2017
Disney’s The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world and now, for the first time ever, you have the opportunity to perform this one-of-a-kind musical with North Shore Academy of the Arts, Stagekids!

AUDITIONS: Tuesday May 9 at 6:00
Rehearsals: Tuesdays 6:30 to 8:30 starting in September 2017
Performances: Weekend of January 12-13, 2018, Cedarburg Performing Arts Center. Exact times TBD.
Costs: Non-refundable deposit of $100 due asap to secure audition slot, receive informational parent packet, rehearsal schedule and audition requirements.
A balance of $195 is due May 9 at auditions | Costume Fee: $25 | Script Fee: $25 |
